Sherman Alexie’s critically acclaimed novel Flight is brought to life as a one-person theatrical adaptation by The American Place Theatre from New York. The hilarious and tragic performance portrays Zits, an orphaned mixed-race Native American teen, who travels back and forth through time in a charged search for his true identity. With powerful and swift prose, Flight follows this troubled teenager as he learns that violence is not the answer. The American Place Theatre’s Literature to Life® program creates a new form of access to literature by bringing the book to life with performances that spark discovery and imagination. Strong language; discretion is advised.
